Steamed fish with tumeric

Turmeric and omega 3 are both anti-inflammatory foods. Omega 3 is an essential dietary requirement and fish is a great source.

 

1 tbs fresh turmeric grated

1 tbs fresh ginger grated

2 cloves garlic grated                                       

Juice of 1 lime

1 tbs tamari soy sauce

2 tbs olive oil

1 small red chill finely diced

½ bunch coriander leaves, root, stalk

2 x 200g white fish (wild) of choice

such as snapper

 

¼ chicken broth

 

1 tbs coconut oil

Combine ginger, garlic, chilli,  turmeric, lime juice, tamari and olive oil to form a paste.

Coat fish and place in the fridge to marinate for 20minutes

Heat pan over medium heat

Add fish and pour over broth. Reduce heat, cook for approx 8 minuted spooning juices over fish.

Stir through coconut oil and coriander

                               

Serve on steamed greens
